Inspired by movements in Egypt, Greece, Spain and Iceland, Occupy Wall Street demonstrators are using the tactic of non-violent mass occupation to protest corporate corruption in the nation's financial capital, the Ground Zero of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression.
According to OccupyWallSt.org: "Occupy Wall Street is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We are the 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%."
